Stephen the Great Central Park — Map & Entrances

Location

The park sits at Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard 148, directly across from the Nativity Cathedral and the main pedestrian axis of the city. Its coordinates place it at the geographic centre of Chișinău's sightseeing loop.

The main gates face Ștefan cel Mare Boulevard, but there are additional openings onto adjacent streets, making the park easy to enter whether you arrive from the cathedral, the boulevard or the surrounding blocks.

Suggested walking route

Enter from the boulevard, pause at the Stephen the Great monument, continue along the Alley of Classics to see the 29 busts, circle the cascade fountain and finish at the summer open-air theatre before exiting toward the cathedral square.

Nearby attractions

Just outside the park you will find the Nativity Cathedral, the National Museum of History of Moldova and the Central Market. The National Museum of History is a separate institution a few minutes' walk away and should not be confused with the park itself.
